Brave took a medieval environment in Scotland and described as a fairy tale and Pixar are very stressed about the importance of detail on every object in the movie. Merida has grown up as the daughter of a vigorous and as a potential heir to the kingdom Dunbroch must follow tradition when both parents intend to marry off his daughter with the eldest son of the main ethnic groups in Scotland. Three heads of the royal clan DunBroch, Macintosh, MacGuffin, and Dingwall took their eldest son for fighting for Merida.
Inheriting his father's talent, Fergus (Billy Connolly), a king who likes to fight, Merida is described as a royal princess who likes archery and adventure.
When Merida family was hunting in the woods, the family was attacked by a bear Merida black beast named Mor `du. Merida and her mother, Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson), managed to escape while Fergus fought to banish the black bear. In battle, Fergus lost his left leg and vowed to take revenge and kill the bear.
Beginning from the top of the story problem occurs when the sons of chiefs Dingwall had inadvertently unleashed an arrow on target. Merida, who is not ready for the groom, thwarting the third son of the tribal chiefs with arrows fired into each target, and even one of the dart dart splitting Dingwall presented with scenes of the movie Robin Hood-style slow.

But the witch's spell makes everything a mess. Elinor completely changed, physically, into a big black bear. That could be a big problem because every character in a very, very hated Brave bear.
From there, the adventure is Merida began to remove the curse that befell the mother and find the real meaning of family.
